Comment by Police Officer about Stanley Cohen.pdf

The primary goal of Police Law Services is to keep police officers and police departments abreast of the most current and important court decisions that affect police practices.

These decisions support the legality of police actions in the area of arrest, search and seizure, interrogation, stop and frisk, warrantless searches of persons, vehicles and home, use of deadly force, and other police-related areas.

This includes decisions affecting the administration of a police department such as labor/management relations, civil rights problems, police union and police management.

Our goal is to keep officers informed through the following products and services:

“I have been reading The Pennsylvania Police Criminal Law Bulletin since I first became a police officer in 1996. I have used this information as a guide for my conduct while on patrol. The knowledge that you shared with me through your Bulletin and our telephone conversations has been an invaluable tool for me both on the street and in the courtroom. I am aware of no other resource such as yours which provides so much useful information specifically geared to police officers in Pennsylvania. As anyone involved in police work knows, court decisions change almost daily, which means that it is essential for police officer to keep abreast of new information and relevant case laws. Without the Pennsylvania Police Criminal Law Bulletin, and your never ending assistance, this would be impossible.”
